My Trailer Parody
For my trailer parody, I attempted to turn the movies JAWS into a timeless, classic disney family movie. In order to achieve this, I removed the iconic suspense inducing orchestrals, and replaced them with some wholesome good-time music. Add a not-too deadly party shark, and this is the result. I really enjoyed swapping the roles of the antagonist and the protagonist with only some nifty clip placement editing. Out of context, most any scene can be turned into its opposite genre with only some "inappropriate" music for the situation. I believe I was successful in the end result, and assuming someone was not familiar with the premise of JAWS, they may be fooled into believing they were in for smooth sailing and something to show the kids.
